I am a qualified Dance Movement Psychotherapist offering individual therapy sessions to children and adults.
I specialize in supporting people processing and healing Trauma, dealing with Work-related Anxiety, Modern Relationship challenges, Family dynamics, Stress, and Self-esteem issues.
My approach is grounded in the belief that movement is our first form of communication and can be a powerful tool for expressing emotions when words fall short.
My practice is centred on helping You connect with your body and emotions, build resilience, and find clarity during times of stress and change. We'll explore your inner world creatively, reflecting on your experiences in a way that supports your unique needs.
You will have the freedom to choose how you want to engage- whether moving, talking, or mix of both- because I believe that therapy should adapt to you, not the other way around.
My journey into the world of therapy began at a very young age, driven by my love for dance and the profound way it made me feel. Growing in Greece, movement became my first language- a powerful form of expression that felt both natural and freeing. This deep connection to dance inspired me to explore how our bodies hold emotions and communicate experiences.
After studying psychology, I realized my true calling was to blend my passions for movement and mental health. Over the past nine years, I've been dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges through an integrative, non- judgmental approach. I believe that everyone holds both light and dark colours within them, and with the right support, we can all connect more profoundly with our "light colours" – the best aspects of who we are.
With extensive experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with learning difficulties and physical disabilities, the approach is psychodynamic and integrative, grounded in the belief that movement and the body are our truest forms of communication. Creativity plays a key role, utilizing movement to help clients express emotions, process experiences, and find their own path to healing.
In my career, I have worked in community, educational, and care settings, including mental health and forensic rehabilitation. I've had the privilege of supporting clients through grief, loss, anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions, always honouring their unique journeys.
I am passionate about creating a safe, empathetic space where clients can explore their inner worlds, feel, seen, and discover new ways of connecting with themselves and others. Whether you're struggling with personal challenges or simply seeking a deeper connection to your body and mind, I'm here to support you on your journey towards self-discovery and growth.
